Lignieres Showjumping

Tom was full of praise for the cross country tracks that had been built out at Lignieres and felt sorry for them that the heavy overnight rain on Friday had made them tougher than planned.  It was a shame that the grey hero Brookfield Benjamin Bounce didn’t jog this morning but Tom always puts the welfare of the horse first and if he felt that it wasn’t in Bounce’s best interests then that is the only call to make for Tom…. he would never present a horse that was not 100%.

Coilibri de Riverland and Braveheart B ( Dougie) did both jog well though and they rewarded Tom with two super clear showjumping rounds.  Coilibri rose to 4th in the 3L and Dougie a very proud 11th in his 4 L debut which is really special.  All the horses have pulled out all the stops this weekend.

Next stop is Le Lion d’Angers with the very talented Jack and then the long awaited 5 star for 2020 with stable star Toledo De Kerser.  October is, as always, about all things French.
