Burgham International

Being the jet setter that he is Tom rocked up to Burgham up in the North with four horses to ride on Friday.  Joyride (Wibley) was in the CIC 3 star which certainly seemed to cause plenty of problems with some cricket scores in the showjumping in particular!

Wibley posted a very smart 42, tapped out a couple of rails and went steadily cross country for a clear round and another qualification box ticked.  The intermediate showjumping was also seemingly very tough with very few clear rounds.  Royal Roxey scored a 35, picked up 9 faults and with 8 time still finished in 7th place.  So Amazing (Daffy) did a lovley test and was brilliant cross country and I am not actually sure what happened in the showjumping so we will skip that bit for now!

Star of the weekend was Barina (Bee) who is swiftly accumilating points and prizes with every outing! A 31 dressage, just a rail and a cross country just 2 seconds over time netted them 2nd place and a qualification for the Intermediate Champs at Gatcombe next year.  Bee and Tom have really gelled very quickly and are storming up the grades which is great to see and fun for Tom as well.
