Blenheim

Toledo de Kerser kept up his amazing showjumping record yesterday afternoon and jumped into the lead in the 8 / 9 year olds with a clear round.  Tom and Toledo set off cross country today full of confidence and Toledo found the track almost ridiculously easy as he cruised around, well up on his minute markers.. and then never locked on to the corner out of the water for a drive by, 20 penalties and no win at Blenheim.  To say Tom was annoyed would be an understatement.  He totally blamed himself for not making the question clearer to Toledo and I think we can rest assured that it will never happen again!  They plan to head to Pau at the end of October for Toledo’s first 4 star run so its not all over yet…

Meanwhile, in the CCI 3 star Joyride (Wibley) trotted up well and then excelled himself with a clear round showjumping to move up another couple of spots to be comfortably inside the top 15.  This also ticks the “top 25% of a three star classification” box which can be hard to achieve and means he is qualified for life for Badminton which is a very nice way to end the weekend!
